The terrorist group Hamas thanked Tehran for its support.

While the war between Hamas and Israel passed its third week on Friday, Oct 27th, delegations from Hamas and its major supporter, the Islamic Republic of Iran, have gone to Moscow to negotiate with Russian officials.

This is the first visit of Iranian officials and Hamas leaders to Russia since the beginning of Hamas’s attack on southern Israel, which led to Israel’s counter-declaration of war against Hamas in the Gaza strip.
In the current situation of the war between Hamas and Israel, and in the situation where Russia is involved in the war with Ukraine, it is not known to what extent Russia has practical influence in the Middle East crisis.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, has had only one telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin since the start of the Hamas war against his country, while he has had at least eight telephone conversations with the American President, apart from the talks during Joe Biden’s visit to Israel.
The joint presence of the delegations of Hamas and the Islamic Republic of Iran in Moscow is at a time when Ghazi Hamad, one of the heads of the political office of Hamas, said in an interview with the Associated Press on October 26th that Hamas expected more practical support from Hezbollah, which is an ally of Iran, in this war.
